In Science, we are continuing our study of the properties of matter. We will work on a new foldable tomorrow—due Thursday. We will have a quiz this Friday over the words. Here’s a link to the quizlet: https://quizlet.com/1163630/matter-2-flash-cards/.  Please have your child spend a minimum of 15 minutes studying the definitions. Science Camp is next Tuesday 9/25. I gave the students a packing list (Hot Pink Paper). Please ask them for it if they didn’t give it to you. Students who do not attend are expected to be at school both days. We will have a teacher staying back that will have their work from their teachers that they are expected to complete. If you are chaperoning, I will be sending a letter home with your student Tuesday. This will include information on where to park and what time to arrive.

This week in reading students will be discussing the elements of fiction.

Reading homework policy: Students will be given a homework assignment every Monday, and it is due on Friday. If a student finishes early he or she may turn it in at any time. Late assignments will be accepted, however students will lose a point each week the assignment is late.
