We are going to have a great year! Within this website you can learn about my expectations as well as find resources on the special education program and Alternate Assessment guidelines.
I am in my 6th year of teaching and have been teaching at Walton-Verona since I began. I have a communication degree from Wilmington College, and a Master of Arts in Education and Rank I from Western Kentucky University.

In my class students learn the Alternate KPREP standards, Employability and Foundational Academic Standards, and Functional Life Skills. We focus heavily on transitions to adult hood and work place. Students learn independent living skills and community skills.
